Alloy has a cool new interview with Olivia up!
How did you get into your What Goes Up character? She’s pretty dark.
The physical transformation is always a big part of feeling like you’re in somebody’s shoes. I dyed my hair black, I armed myself with many eyeliner pencils and some combat boots and a trench coat, and that did it. Tess is an artist, so I spent a lot of time drawing. I felt like she’d write poems, so I’d spend my time when I wasn’t shooting in my trailer drawing and writing sad poems.
